A gourd water or milk vessel with exceptional decorative designs.
This storage vessel is water-tight and likely stored milk and other liquids. Inside this jug, there is an old black patina encrusted which may be from a combination of materials used to make the jug waterproof. Similar to vessels from the Somali, Borana or Gabra peoples.
