This was collected over 40 years ago in East Africa by someone with USAID. It is shorter than usual, which means it probably belonged to someone of a young age. It it is also unusual in that the area below the blade is twisted, which is a feat of masterful forging. Spears like these were used by the Maasai, and the Samburu peoples of Kenya.
It can be broken down into 3 parts, which makes it easy to ship!
