These old flat Nigerian baskets are unique pieces of handmade African craft that represents the heritage of Nigeria. They were collected back in the 1960's by Max Kirkeburg who was doing research into oral histories in the area at that time. Note, they were old when they were collected about 60 years ago! Made in Nigeria, these handcrafted baskets are collectible items that showcases the rich craftsmanship of the region.
They are lovely either front or back, and can be displayed either horizontally, or vertically.
Fairly flat with only a 1" depth, they have a circumference or diameter of 19 ½".
