Goffete is an oasis town which neighbors Agadez. The shape is symbolic of both a camel back and the mountain of Goffete. It is worn by both men and women as protection.
Tribal silver, made from mixed metals, and mostly black beads, offset with the red beads.
The Edge (guitarist for U2) wears one.
