Bronze Rattle Bracelet - Dan People, Liberia

This bracelet makes a rattling sound when shaken, (not stirred!).
A variety of bracelet types were cast using the lost wax casting method. Bracelets were used as a form of currency, as dowry payment and worn as a symbol of prestige and status.
