This has been a mystery piece for us. We did not collect it ourselves, rather we acquired it from a private collection, and were told that it was from Eastern Nigeria.
However, upon further research, we believe it is from the southern Bamana people, in south Mali, northern Ivory Coast area. There is a repair to the right foot, so it is priced really low!
Height: 28" x Width: 4 ½" x Depth: 10" .
It is mounted on a base that measures 2 ¼" x 6 ½? x 6 ⅞", and is 30 ½" on this stand.
