From the 19th - early 20th century.
Luck in the game of abbia, which is a game of chance, rests on a small token carved from Adzap tree seeds. On the smooth, polished surface of the halved seeds, miniature representations are carved.
Based loosely on heads or tails, but used in magical and divinatory practices.
