Designed with four ribbed, rounded segments, which used to function as both a personal ornament, and a form of currency or trade money.
It is old, and has lots of wear and tear, and has been priced accordingly.
It is difficult to know its original tribal affiliation, as similar currency bracelets and anklets were attributed to the Kru, Fulani, Baule and even the Dogon peoples.
Created using the "lost wax" method, and as the mold can only be used once in this process, this is a one of a kind piece!
