$295.00
Priced so low, because we think it would be a shame to break up the set. They look so good together being mounted with one end facing up, and the other on down.
Made by the smiths, gongs were ritual instruments which were symbols of authority for chiefs and judges. They also served as part of the marriage gifts exchange. They were valuable items that could also be used to purchase palm oil, ivory, wives and slaves.

Height: 24 3/4" x Width: 7" on a 6" square metal base.
The owner of the collection these gong currencies comes from is downsizing, and as such is wanting us to help find good homes, and quickly! These need to be sold by the end of the year 2020, and as such we have priced them to sell. The current owner of them will only sell them as a pair, and not individually.
