Many different stories are associated with the two camel bone pendants.Traditionally, they were worn at the end of long
necklaces made from African trade beads.
Some believe that they
were used as medicine or divining sticks.
It is also believed to be a
symbol of wealth and that the number of circles denote the number
of cattle owned.
