Godfrey Katutwa was introduced to sculpting in 1988 by Claud Nyanhongo. Godfrey is almost completely deaf and consequently finds it very difficult to speak. He expresses himself in stone. Godfrey views his artistic talent as a gift from God and is the only member of his family with such leanings.
