The sword has a flat iron blade with incised hearts and chevrons in a C shaped tip. H shaped wooden handle. The blade has a light rust patina, else intact. Rectangular leather sheath covered with woven or knit square panels, each with four stylized bird's heads, red trade cloth and large loop handles decorated with cowrie shells.
