Melanie has searched the far reaches of the globe for over thirty years seeking authentic artifacts, as well as unusual beads, stones, natural materials and interesting shapes. Melanie has a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin and further studied at the Chicago Art Institute.

Melanie’s jewelry can be found in museum shops, boutiques and galleries throughout the world.

This necklace is made from a bronze leaf shaped element from Ghana and a clay spindle whorl. It measures 35" end to end, and the whorl and bronze piece together measure 3.5" long.
