"Gathering Adornment" Pendant (#3)
Price: $375.00

Holly Masterson is an honors graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She designs jewelry in a style she calls "ancient contemporary". Using modern fabrication techniques, she combines such artifacts as ancient coins, rare stones, Egyptian glass, and tribal currencies to make unique, visually rich pieces.
This piece is part of a collection the artist calls "gathering adornments". It consists of seven pieces of shell currency from Papua New Guinea attached to a sterling silver pendant. It measures 3" from top to bottom.
NOTE: The cord shown in the photo is not included with the pendant. It consists of black leather with a sterling silver toggle, and sells for $150.00. We have other chains and cords at various sizes and prices that would work well with this piece. Please inquire for details.
