Silver and Bronze Coptic Cross - 19th century. Hand crosses were traditionally carried by the Coptic priests and were made of iron, brass, silver, or wood. All are created using the lost wax method. These pieces were all acquired from a private collection that was previously on display at the Seattle Art Museum.
