The nomadic Tuareg of west Africa are considered master craftsmen, especially in the mediums of leather and metal. This amulet, called a tcherot (pronounced chair-row), incorporates various metals and is believed to have protective powers.

The pendant measures 3" high, 3.5" wide, and 1.5" deep.
