Mud Cloth

Perhaps the most recognized of all African textiles is the mudcloth from Mali. Mud is used as the pigmenting agent, the usual colors being black or dark brown. The white designs are the areas not covered with the mud. Much of our mudcloth selection has been fashioned into cushion covers, however we have a large inventory of the mud cloth panels in regular sizes to bedspread size. Call for availability.
