for stability in this East African
nation. Mozambican woodworkers
are now maintaining sustainable
partnerships with world export
markets. As they create fantastic
new designs from sandalwood and ironwood,
the artisans employ resource
conservation methods
learned during their five-years
association with Aid to Artisans,
halting the progression
of waste and depletion while
restoring peace and prosperity to
their challenged culture.
